My husband is a businessman based in Singapore. This testimony I am giving was borne out of an experience I had in the year 2016. We had imported some goods from Korea and our Principal usually used one of the major shipping company (I wouldn’t want to mention the name) in Korea. Sometime in August, we received shipping documents notifying us regarding our shipping. As usual, we got our clearance agent to settle all the paperwork and other things. Surprisingly, news came from our clearance agent that the shipping company has been declared bankrupt without our knowledge. The bad news was that all our goods which we ordered were trapped in their vessel and we needed to deliver to our customers. We were very troubled and worried, and why not? We had over S$200K worth of goods on the vessel and also, we need the stock urgently to deliver the goods to our customers. We did our best to get our goods out but to no avail. We sought the help of our principal and the shipping company but there was nothing they could do either. All they told us was to wait.
During that period, we were getting a lot of bad
possible outcomes. Some even said that whatever goods were on the vessel would
be confiscated by the creditors of the shipping company. We actually made new
orders with our principal but new orders need a month to process and ship out
and it would not arrive in time. We were anxious and worried as our customers
were waiting for our delivery and with no other choice than to pray fervently
for a miracle. This problem lingered till September 2016.
During one of my prayer times, God directed me to study Exodus 14 which contained the story of how Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and across the Red Sea. He showed me how strong they were in faith and how miracles always happen whenever we exercise faith. The Israelites were, of course, afraid of the fast-approaching army of Egypt but by faith, they were able to cross the Red Sea to safety. God can do almighty work. In Matthew 19:26 “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." God works in myriad ways.
One night, I had a dream. I saw myself fall from a very high
place. I, however, dropped into a huge hand and I was saved. The dream was so
clear and reassuring and after I woke up, from then on, I knew things would be
alright. Customers started to call us that they would like to postpone the
delivery date to October. Things began to shift in our favor. We got calls from
our principal and the authority at the helms of affairs that our cargo would be
released. Finally, to the glory of God, our containers were released on the
22nd of September 2016. On the day the containers arrived to our warehouse, our
warehouse stock balance left with last machine to be delivered. God is doing amazing
and great things in our life and I call it miracles and God will not
short-change us, He will provide us more than enough. To me, with man this is
impossible but with God all things are possible. Faith as small as a mustard seed
will produce mega size miracles.
On November 2016 (I really can’t remember the date), one of
the sisters from my church was very concerned when she saw in the news that
some cargos had not been cleared. My husband and I were shocked because we
thought every other person in our situation got the same treatment. Obviously,
that wasn’t the case. Around that time, our new agent told me that some were
still having problems clearing their cargo. He was even surprised at how
quickly we were able to clear our cargo. Our Heavenly Father works in wondrous
ways. I thank Him for helping us. All glory to the Lord and I convinced more
than ever that with faith, we can create miracles.
